Mr. Chauvin is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant since 1996. After completing his Pre-Medicine undergraduate studies at Southeastern Louisiana University, he attended the first Physician Assistant Program class in Louisiana at LSU Medical Center School of Allied Health in Shreveport where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He has 19 years Emergency Room experience having worked at Leonard J. Chabert Medical, Terrebonne General Medical Center, Lane Regional Medical Center, and St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He has 8 years Occupational Medicine Experience and has worked in several Urgent Care Centers in Baton Rouge prior to co-founding Delta Urgent Care. He currently resides in Houma with his wife and children.

Scott Diedrich, PA-C
Scott Diedrich, PA-C is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant since 2002. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He then furthered his education at the University of Alabama @ Birmingham where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Physician Assistant program. Scott has over 10 years of Emergency Room experience having worked at both Leonard J Chabert Medical Center and Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. He also worked in multiple Urgent Care clinics prior to co-founding Delta Urgent Care in 2015. Scott is a native of Thibodaux where he currently resides with his wife and two children.

Gregory A. Fernandez, MD
Dr. Gregory Fernandez trained at Charity Hospital in New Orleans and is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He worked at Chabert Medical Center for nearly 10 years prior to working with Delta Urgent Care. Dr. Fernandez brings to his practice nearly 20 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. He very much enjoys working closely with our seasoned providers to give you the highest quality of care in the industry.

Bart Cortez, PA-C
Bart Cortez, PA-C is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant since 2008. He achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Nicholls State University in 1997. He furthered his experience working as a nurse in the Emergency Department for 9 years at both Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and Terrebonne General Medical Center. After establishing his nursing career, he desired a more involved role as a medical provider. Consequently, he began his journey toward becoming a Physician Assistant through the University of North Dakota, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2008. Since then, he’s worked in private practice as well as the Emergency Department, and joined the Delta Urgent Care family in 2017. Bart resides in Thibodaux with his wife and children.

Matthew James, MPH, PA-C
Matthew James, MPH, PA-C is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant since 2016. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. He then went on to complete a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Matthew then graduated from the LSU Health Sciences Center Physician Assistant program in New Orleans. He has 5 years emergency medicine experience working at both Leonard J Chabert Medical Center and Thibodaux Regional Health System. He has been working for Delta Urgent Care since 2017. Matthew resides in his hometown of Houma with his wife and two children.

Craig Wade, MD
Dr. Craig Wade is a part-time Provider with Delta Urgent Care, who was born and raised in south Mississippi. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from The University of Southern Mississippi. Although he is a physician now, he began his medical career as a registered nurse. While serving as a registered nurse he held various supervisory positions in intensive care and emergency department.
His desire to help his patients led him to further his education and fulfill his lifelong dream and calling of becoming a physician. He took his wife Ralna and three children to The Commonwealth of Dominica to live and study medicine at Ross University School of Medicine. Graduating with High Honors in 2011, Dr. Wade moved into his Internal Medicine residency with Louisiana State University at Leonard J Chabert Medical Center. While living in Houma and completing his residency, the Wade family became rooted in the community and decided to make Houma their permanent residence.

Marcia A. Blereau, FNP
Marcia Blereau, NP-C, is a Nationally Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2017. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2002. She then furthered her education at Nicholls State University, obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing. Marcia is a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, a regional representative of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is also registered on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Marcia has over 20 years of nursing experience having worked home health, intensive care, and family practice.
